Creatine usage..opinions please

Ok guys i recently bought a creatine product known as Trac. a friend of mine plays college football and he said his gains have been phenomonal along with some other players .so i decided to try it out. My question is have any of you tried thsi product. what do you think. I only take it before i lift 4 x a week(cost effective) should i take it every day? I was expierncing stomach pains and digestion problems when i first started but i was also starting a new diet. Alos i know creatine is important AFTER you lift. should i buy some ribose-c and give that a shot after i lift along with the other product thanks Mike
