Creatine Newb With Questions

I just got my first order of creatine monohydrate from the T-Nation store. I was wondering what the proper way to use it is. I am under the impression that for the first 3 to 4 weeks I take 5 grams a day, and then after that I take 5 grams after each workout with my protein shake.

Is this the correct way to go about it? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

IMO keep it simple Id just take 5 grams every day

Or u could bulk by taking 5 grams five times a day for a week and then take 5 grams a day Post workout

I was considering doing that to get faster results, however, I really am in no rush… I can wait a month to start seeing results. I know the safety factor probably isn’t relevant here, but I just feel like why overload myself in one week when I can get the same results in about a month. It is tempting though.

All of the above are “correct”. While they are mutually exclusive protocols, creatine is a pretty user-friendly supplement (in that it’s hard to screw it up). 25g a day is excessive, but not likely harmful.
