Creatine for Maintaining Strength and Muscle

Hello everyone. Ive been bulking for about 5 months now, shot up from 205 to 225lbs. I want to start a cut soon; I’ve been taking Creadex during those 5 months and I was a little skeptical about the product, but it turned out well.

I’m wondering if it would be feasible to use maybe half the dose on a cut to maintain strength and muscle? Or should I just completely avoid creatine while cutting? My diet is “ok” Im in the Army and stationed in Iraq so the food choice is rather limited…Im taking in a lot of protein (syntha-6).
