Crash (lifts and stuff)

Edgy- Hi you can visit for whatever reason you like, unfortunately I have no wenches to offer a viking:(

Alexus- Pics? Hmmm, I am not very nostalgic and do not really have any pics, but I’ll look into it.

Veggiestrong- I actually got mine reduced down to a DD but I did get pretty big, and for me DD is a big difference. Of coarse I don’t have narrow shoulders. As far as a reduction is concerned, I think the more negatively the size effects your(your sisters) every day life the more positive the end result of a reduction will be in comparison.

Frenchie- It is definitely okay to drop by with music, I think of this time period as before Britney and after she landed we all had to start looking like pornstars. lol

This weekend it has been Concrete Blonde (goth before goth)

and Tom Waits
This one makes me feel like dancing

Alexus
This is all I got me and my friend horsing around in the locker room after our match but before changing, it is common practice to not change out of your gear until the show is over. My entrance music.

Yep I was a bad guy cheating and cursing out the audience, fun!

Forgot the pic for the above post.

haha! awesome! wrestling and bjj are down on my list of things i’d really like to learn one day. love the song

I need to do some more sprinting. I’ve been training for a half marathon so sprints have rather fallen by the wayside, but I do enjoy 'em. Are you finding they make much difference to your gym performance or physique?

Me too. I’m looking to get my sprints going this week! Nice to see you over here Charlie.

I was sore for 2 solid days from my sprints. Back, shoulders, legs, glutes, everything. Love it.

Alexus-If I come across more pics I’ll put them in.

Cal-Hi, This time around I have not been doing them long enough to really notice a difference although I am convinced that the split up my calves was not there before I started:D In the past when I was sprinting, I was more focused on the fact that my stomach/waist would not get small, I’m sort of short-waisted/thick and I completely didn’t appreciate what the sprints were doing to my lower body even though I was getting compliments  I’m taking pics for comparison this time. As far as weights vs sprints, I usually focus more on one or the other. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing but I think I’ll keep the big lifts and get rid of most of the accessory lifts, especially the lower body accessories.

Powerpuff-Hi, yeah sprints, also it is spring and it makes me want to get outside and exercise, I have zero motivation for cardio indoors. Also I loved the Power Puff girls.

Maximus-Will you be sprinting on a regular basis now? You look like you have the awesome bum gene, I have the awesome calf gene:)

Mon Sprint workout

Warm up
-walk to park
-jog/run 200m
-stretch
-butt kickers 60m
-bounding 60m
-side to side run 60m
-stretch
-build-ups 50m x 4 (building speed)

Sprints: Not timed this time
-20m x 2
-30m x 2
-40m x 2
-50m x 2 (held sprints for full distances :))

Next sprint day I will try for longer distances and then have one day per week for short sprints and another for longer sprints. I would also like to throw in another day or two for conditioning but not sprints, perhaps middle distances like 800m and 1200m, also some plyo exercises.

For some reason today’s workout left me docile so I am not in the mood for fast songs.

Chris Isaak memories: My first long term boyfriend was responsible for my becoming a Chris Isaak fan. He took me to one of his(Isaak’s) concerts, where he did not perform Blue Spanish Sky but he did wear that fabulous mirror-ball suit. I was hooked. Chris Isaak is so dreamy. *sigh

I was bored yesterday and made this.

ahem

Pics of said calf.

Hi Ms. H.,
I love the physique of the middle distance runners.

what kind of shoes do you have?
did you find a track club?
How long have you been at your 5/3/1?

Also, next time you get a booby redux, SHARE!

<3

song not related, just awesome.

PerfectDrug-Did you used to be Bre? Hi, I have not contacted the local club but I have found an outdoor track, I’ll need this for anything over 100m. Middle distance bodies are okay as long as their specialty is the 800m but I think the sprinters 400m or less have the best lower bodies. As a top heavy gal I find the sprints to be best. Shorter distance= Less bouncing:) I don’t think I will be having a redux again, they are only really annoying when exercising at current size.

I do not use those special sprint shoes (with the spikes) as you only really need them for the track. I practice on grass right now and use adidas running shoes (don’t know what kind. Sprint shoes are cheaper than running shoes though. That girl in the video had really cute hair, some of my fav movies are my favs because of the hair. Example: The first X-files movies, I love Scully’s hair in that movie. Oh and I have been doing the 5/3/1 since end of Jan, so not long.

Ended sprint session early due to monsoon :frowning:
Also my squat the other day really sucked, I will be rearranging workout schedule this weekend:(

Warmup
-walk to park
-jog/run around
-stretch
-butt kicks 60m
-bounding 60m
-side run 60m
-stretching
-buildups 60m x 4 (noticed cramping in quad)
-stretching

Sprints(raining heavy now and could not see well)
-30m x 2 6.9,7.82
-40m x 1 failed at timing.
-50m x 2 12.75 (just gave up cramps + low visibility grrr)

It sucked today this is a combo of weather and timing with workouts, not enough recovery time I think. I may decide to alternate squats and deads each week. I was thinking that I would focus more on the weights in the fall and winter but then I noticed we have a speed skating club for masters (30+) in my little city so…It just looks like fun to go that fast:D

What is it about spring that brings out the aggressive in me. One of my all time fav pro wrestlers; Bull Nakano she was so bad ass.

Well I suppose a shot of the calves would be okay. I’m shy damn it.

well worth the wait! those are some fine world class calves, Charlie.

now mine are jelly, and are dreading the workout I’ll be giving them to-nite!

oh wow you do got calves!! very nice

speed skating - cool!

what kinda bra do you use for your sprints? just wondering… i’m fond of 2 layers of compression (compression tank-bra with compression top). actually… a couple of my compression tops have compression tank-bras built in so guess that makes 3 layers of compression heh. smooshes things pretty flat - but seems to stop all bouncing. if i smash the bar into my boobs (as i do sometimes) it doesn’t really hurt… but i think you are a bit bigger than me…
