@duketheslaya I don’t mind the log takeover at all because it helps mask my poor workout schedule and it’s kinda funny! When I have something exciting to post I’ll make sure I use all caps lettering and shout it out.

YOU DON’T NEED TO HIRE A COACH/TRAINER!
- CT gives out free advice here.
- Jim Wendler kind of gives out free advice here (sometimes he just yells at you LOL).
- There are smart, qualified people here who will help you…for free.
For example, I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a degree in Exercise Science. And to top that I think there are a lot of people roaming around here who are much smarter and experienced than me. They may not have fancy letters after their names, but their experience counts for more than passing a few tests.

I had a face to face trainer before and it was alright but he started doing more groups and I liked my one on one. I loved that he held me accountable and would let me know when I was not pushing hard enough. I kinda like someone to piss me off during a workout!!!

Currently I’m doing my mandatory military time, but I used to coach people interested in bodybuilding/strength sports (apart from Olympic Weightlifting)

So I went to a supplement store and spoke with a guy about pre-workout. He seemed knowledgeable but most of them do to sell their products. Anyways he talked to me about a bottle of pills that was a natural muscle building supplement. Thoughts?!? I know I can’t specifically say the type on this site but are they helpful…
I assume they were either HMB (somewhat useful), creatine (useful) or some kind of testosterone booster (waste of money)
If it was amino acids save your money and buy them in powder form if you want to try (really, buy everything in powder form, it’s a lot cheaper)
You’ll need to think in terms of how icy it’ll cost and what do you get in return
Stuff like HMB and creatine are cheap and pretty effective so they may be worth your money, unlike most “muscle-building pills”
Remember that the really effective stuff is illegal in most countries. (SARMs and PEDs)
