Cosgrove or Staley Book Question

I recently started weight training for Jeet Kune Do/ Kickboxing (I’ve been doing the standards - bench/ squat/ deadlift) and I decided to grab a book to specify my training and get me on the right track. I just came across Maxcondition the MMA Athlete by Charles Staley and Secrets of Martial Arts Conditioning by Alwyn Cosgrove.

I can only afford to get one and I was hoping you guys could help me decide or maybe suggest one I haven’t come across.
