Correcting Postural Imbalance

When viewed from the back, my left shoulder looks lower than my right. Not dramatically, but evident. I know my right trap is very tight from a previous right shoulder injury. I have been told that the imbalance may be tight left obliques. At hip level I am very well balanced. Another thing I notice is that my left foot wants to point out slightly farther than my right.

What methods/modalities/treatments are typically used for such imbalances? Basically…what should I do?

Eric Cressey & Mike Robertson wrote a great series called “Neanderthal No More” which addresses all the various postural imbalances, as well as prescribing corrective exercises for each. It has four or five parts, but here is the link to Part 1.
