Corn. Good or Bad??

Gardener’s Dictionary:
Coniferous; of or relating to conifers.

I guess you dont mean he should eat trees, perhaps you meant cruciferous.

That typo made me smile

Corn is a Grain.

Not a Vegetable.

Your replacing one thing with something similar…

Corn is evil.

Um… grains are vegetables.

Uh… no they aren’t.

I buy most of my food at Costco. Among other things I get a five pound bag of green beans and a five pound bag of mixed vegetables. The latter includes green beans, peas, carrots and corn. If your nutritional intake is clean and you are getting lots of green vegetables, I can not see eating a mix such as that being detrimental.

Perhaps he meant that corn is a “corniferous” plant.

This is a great example of “over-thinking” it…

6 meals a day.
Protein in each meal
veggies with each meal (go for green more often).

why do you all make this so complicated…

Haha! Whops…maybe trees have more fiber anyways.

Ok… well I guess they must be animals then. My mistake.

Anyone who tells you to remove all grains from your diet is a dogmatic idiot.

wow[/quote]

Someone suggesting one removes grains from their diet only has as much dogmatic idiocy implied with it as you infer with the suggestion. I don’t see the need for castrating the one that makes this suggestion. And we certainly can without doubt demonstrate why the given amount of starch in the corn could be unwanted.

So if something is idiotic and is being presented in a dogmatic way, as the unknown person did to the original poster, we shouldn’t say so. Gotta soft pedal it instead. Gotcha.

no, bloviating isn’t against the law, just possibly unproductive. carry on

The bloviating was in the declaration that grains should never be consumed.

Stick with em and I promise you’ll start to love em.
