Just got back from Wauseon; one of the Antique Motorcycle Club Of America’s national meets, and I thought I would share a few photos with you guys. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much cool stuff at one of these meets. For you motorcyclists out there, do yourself a favor and go to one of these events. Learn a little about the history and see for yourself the evolution of the motorcycle.
Wow great shots! I can’t wait to attend something, anything like an event like that. Largest group of bikes I have ever been around was about 15 of them all Bandits.
Thanks for the pics! It’s great to see how bikes have changed over the years. Even though I’ve only owned sport bikes, I’m becoming a very big fan of the BMW’s.

If only those bikes could talk.[/quote]
One of the coolest parts is the stuff the guys are riding around. How about a belt drive Excelsior. Leather belt that is, from the teens. Bikes that saw service in WWI! And the folks are great cause it’s about the motorcycles, not about some attitude or costume party.
The biggest AMCA meet of the year is during Labor Day weekend in Davenport, Iowa at the fairgrounds. Well worth the trip.
Bruce Linsday on his 1905 Harley. Oldest running Harley in the world. He rode it from the Cleveland area to Milwaukee for the 100th anniversary a couple of years ago. Took him five days at a top speed of 35 miles per hour.
