There never seem to be any seminars here in the Midwest that I want to go to. Even when I can swing the student reduced registration fee, it’s usually double or triple that to fly out and back, not counting lodging…
So, why no Midwestern seminars? For the contrib’s convenience, here’s a list of cities that would be most convenient for me. (I can tell you are all deeply concerned about accomodating me 
Minneapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha, Springfield, MO, Columbia or Jeff City, MO
I guess I’d even do Chicago.
