Contest Prep Log

#1

Going to start logging over here.

Quick info about me:

I've competed bodybuilding, strongman and powerlifting. I've done mediocre at all of them. I have a competition deadlift of 765, have never won my class in any bodybuilding show, and got hurt right before NAS strongman nationals. This is my attempt to getting back to being competitive at something, hopefully bodybuilding. I've had a fairly successful off season the past few years and kept fairly lean. I've been dieting for a few months now fairly slowly, trying to maintain as much lean mass as possible.

Front shot - you can clearly see my lower ab fat situation here. This also isn’t a very flatting picture, my waist does get much tighter as I continue to diet.

765 dead is mediocre?

I’ll be reading.

#7

No that’s my only claim to fame though! I won’t be deadlifting heavy for quite some time now, trying to work with a chiro to get my SI joint back to good health for the time being and focus on hypertrophy/fat loss.
