Construction Work

Hi Jim,

Im a carpenter working 45-50 hours a week. I love to train but some days get rough with the physical work. Ive been training using 2 days per week usually consisting of a upper press and either a dead or squat using the 531 and supersetting the opposite movement pattern usually a unilateral movement or bodyweight to save time. Any advice?

I’m in the construction industry. I know and have known plenty of people in construction who train and compete. You probably don’t eat and/or sleep enough. Start out light, ramp up slowly and use a weekend day or possibly two to ease your burden on weeknights.
