Makes you wonder if we’re not poisoning ourselves like the Romans did with their Aqueducts (ultimately leading to lead poisoning for their race).

Actually, I prefer not to worry about it. Our lifespan is much longer than our ancestors, which in and of itself, is causing a population boom. You don’t really want to live forever do you?

Live forever? Nah, 433 years would be good enough for me. (I use to say 400, then decided it would be nice to see another century.)

My daughter made a pumpkin pie using Splenda in place of sugar. I could not tell the difference between it and regular pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is forever changed.
