Confused about Pendulum Training

Well, ok, not specifically pendulum training, rather the frequencies given.

This is what I’m actually confused about. They say muscles recuperate faster than your CNS. That being the case, why is there a lower frequency during the structural training than the functional training? (1-2 times per week) vs. (1-3 times per week).

In my mind it would be the reverse. What arent I catching?

because, if i recall correctly you are doing more total volume on the structural weeks.

The functional or neural weeks emphasize motor learning. Read up my article “Different destinations, different journeys”
