Conditioning During 5/3/1?

Hey yall. I’m running 5/3/1 four days a week. I was thinking of doing a heavy sled push for 10-15 mins after every workout except squats. I want to know of other good conditioning exercises that make you STRONG. I don’t want to jog on a treadmill. What do you recommend?

hill sprints, sprints in the sand, medicine ball throws, tire flips, farmers walks, car pushes, stone lift and carries, sand bag lifts/carries, heavy bag flips/tosses/carries

thanks!!

Ive been doing fasted cardio using my prowler in the am 6-7, then doing the 5/3/1 after 5 pm.
I am also doing Jamie Lewis’s Apex Predator Diet which is similar to Keifer’s Carb Back Loading and
have had very good results with this system. Went from 210 to 190 in three months without losing strength.

How about Barbell Complexes/ Kettlebell Complexes? Same category isn’t it?

Kettlebell Complexes work great. Especially doubles.

I’ve recently started jumping rope as part of my conditioning after reading Wendler’s 531 book (he uses it as a warm-up). It is great for athletes because it strengthens the calves and keeps you light on your feet. I’m working my way up to single leg hops in multiple directions. I usually don’t make a whole session out of it, but I add it in with some other complexes for variety.
