Compound Exercises

Can someone explain specific compound lifts? I think I have the basic idea behind its name, but would like to know which exercises are actually CE.

Also, I read military press is one - is behind-the-neck press one also?

Squats (all variations), deadlifts (all variations), bench press, shoulder press, dips, chins, pull-ups. Anything that is multi-joint and doesn’t just work one muscle (isolation).

Yep - rows too.

A compound exercise is one that involves multiple joints.

For example, the squat heavily involes the the knee and hip joints. On the other hand, bicep curls only involve the elbow when performed strictly.
