Ok, maybe i am wierd and being petty but this one particular thing kind of pisses me off :

People pouring out half a pot of coffee or more because its ‘NOT FRESH’ and has been sitting there for an hour …and is still warm.

Is there something im missing here ? I just drink the damn stuff for the caffiene benefit, im not some pointless coffee snob, ill drink cold coffee that somebody made the day before if its sitting there in the container. Still tastes like coffee to me. I just gulp the stuff down like a sports beverage. WTF. ITS NOT “FRESH.”

Then tell them to set it aside for you.

And coffee that’s not fresh sucks balls, especially if it’s been sitting on one of those Bunn office burners.

Are you paying for the coffee?

Maybe you should switch to decaf if this upsets you.

coffee oils go rancid / spoil and it tastes like crap. lucky you that you can’t taste it, i guess. are you a cheap drunk, too??

When I had to stand a Watch I didn’t care if the Coffee was 2 days old Reheat and drink to stay awake.

But NOW GOOD SIR I AM SAID COFFEE SNOB. I can tell if its been reheated, I can tell if its been sitting for an hour even if its still hot.

Hot Fresh Coffee is proof that God Loves us. Remember that!!!

The only reason I’m not going off is that I can’t tell if your avatar is a Airsoft Pic or a 3 Gun comp…yeah it matters. One is awesome.

If you don’t drink coffee for the taste, then you aren’t one to really judge whether or not old coffee “tastes like coffee”.

To be honest, coffee that’s been sitting on a burner DOES tend to develop an adverse taste to it… but I don’t think it happens after only an hour.

Coffee is meant to be consumed warm & fresh.I brew coffee in quantity for only one coffee mug.Each time I have a cup of cofee (2 deciliter),its freshly prepared.

My favorite coffee preparation is to pour hot water over it into one of those plunger pitcher thingies, then chill it immediately. Plunge every couple of hours then strain it as you pour. Keeps that fresh brewed taste and is a gazillion times stronger than than the good ole’ auto drip.
