My meet went pretty well considering everything. Bad training cycle leading up to it, two injuries within a month of the competition, and having to completely change my squat stance the day of the meet without training that way at all. With an extremely narrow stance to avoid pain in my hip I finished the day with
Squat: 190 kg/418 lbs
Bench: 102.5 kg/226 lbs
Deadlift: 210 kg/ 462 lbs
Total: 502.5 kg/1105.5 lbs
I know I had a 200 kg squat in the tank yesterday, but my hip just wasn't holding out. As for the bench, well that just sucked. Can't wait to start Cube Predator on September 1st to bring that bench number way up before my next meet!!
