Coming Off TRT After 3yrs to Have a Baby. High Dose HCG Treatment

A fertility specialist recommend I take 3000iu of HCG 3 times a week for 3 months. I had a zero Sperm count (I have had children in the past so this is 100% caused by the TRT)

It has been 3 months and my blood work:

Estradiol: 60 (crazy high) top of scale is 63
FSH: <0.3 (so nothing…)
LH: <0.1 (again nothing)
Prolactin: 5.8 NG/ML 3.0-30.0
Test, Free/Total w/SHBG: 8046 (no range given but shown in red out of range)
Test: 776
SHBG: 39 NMOL/L 17-66
Free Test: 16 NG/DL 4.8-25

I have been feeling pretty good but not as good the last few weeks probably because I have been becoming E dominant. Scrotum has started to stay higher/tighter and Testes not as plump.

I have decided to try Nolvadex at 10mg a day and Anastrozole. I am going in tomorrow to get a prescription for more Anastrolzole I only have 3 1mg tabs left. I just took 1 20mg Nolvadex and 1mg Anastrozole.

I am going to try and do Sperm analysis Wednesday. I am not sure if it would be worth it will LH and FSH at 0.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

And you expected LH and FSH to be something other than 0 on HCG?

I guess I am confused. I thought MY LH would be high/higher on HCG. Doesn’t HCG cause an increase in LH to stimulate Sperm Production? Or dose it stimulate without seeing an increase in LH?

Your LH will still be bottomed out even on hCG. HCG doesn’t cause an increase in LH, it mimicks LH to trick your testes into functioning.

Way too much hCG, 250iu EOD is a LH replacement dose.

Zero LH/FSH on TRT is expected, your doc at fault.

There are 7 stickies in this forum. Start with advice for new guys.

DO NOT DO HIGH DOSE SERM.

DO NOT COMBINE SERM and hCG.

With an LH of 0 will I be able producing Sperm on HCG?

So the test to see HCG is working is Testes increase in size, T lvl up, and the definite answerer would be a semen analysis?

If testes respond physically, you would give them time to get to steady state. Then check for sperm or fist switch to SERM for a few weeks then test.
