I am coming back to 531 after 2 full cycles of the Cube Method. Previously I ran 531 for about 8 months. During that time I made to many changes, and I switched between templates too often, so when I tested my maxes at the end of the 8 months my lifts had all gone down.
I switched to the Cube Method, and I made great gains in strength, but now I would like to add more volume with 531, so that I can put on some muscle. I have learned my lesson, so I will be sticking to the program and not making changes. I will be running BBB on opposite days. I believe the Cube Method is great for short term strength gains, but I am determined to make 531 work for the long term.
