Combining great guns with awsome abs?

Going onto 2nd of week of phase III of GG.
Was looking of adding a good ab workout to this right now.

Would adding Awsoime abs to this be ok? Or too much? And would it best to do the Abs. in the AM or PM, then the great guns workout @ a dif. time. So I would split the abs and great guns to dif. times of the same day.
