hey, im training to build strength and muscle mass, i do a 3 day split back/bis, chest/tris, legs/shoulders, rest. Im looking for ideas on how to incorporate cardio into this, I was wondering if running in between work outs would mess up my leg progress due to wearing them down and not enough rest, any thoughts would be appreciated thanks
i’d say simply dont run the day before, after or on the same day as legs day. that still leaves 4 days for running.
you’ll have to experiment yourself though and see what works.
It depends what type of cardio you do. Slower steadier state cardio will probably prohibit some of your gains while HIIT will most likely aid what your doing in the weight room.
