Coffee In Shakes?

Hey all,

I like to have a cup of coffee in the morning, and a protien shake to drink on my way to work. Lately I’ve been making my coffee the night before putting it in the fridge and adding it to my shake in the morning. It tastes really great, almost like one of those coffee drinks from Starbucks.

Does any one know if the acids in the coffee will mess with the protien?


Coffee / Metabolic Drive recipes have been posted before, by the staff, so I really doubt it.

Nah I don’t think so, I think some of the writers have even suggested this before. I put instant coffee in my breakfast shake sometimes- protein powder, some fruit (usually bananas) and instant coffee and milk. Yummmm
