As suggested by some T-Nation folks,
I just bought some cocoa powder to add to my plain protein powder shakes in order to add some taste. But when I tried it with water it really taste like shit!!
Anyone has a suggestion for this?
Straight cocoa powder like Hersheys is extremely bitter. Try cutting it 1/3 cocoa powder to 2/3 sweetener or sugar or fructose or whatever you prefer. If you aren't watching calories you can even break it down in a couple of tablespoons of melted butter, then blend that in.
Is it possible to add something to cocoa powder in order to not alter the nutritional profile of the shake to much?
I mean while dieting, I want to keep my shake low carb.
shake low carb, nat peanut butter.
