Im doing coan phillipi deadlift and I stalled out week 8. Old max was 365 desired max was 405. Week 7 did 365x2 was supposed to do 385x2 today but couldn’t budge it. What should I do now continue and try 395 next week or just go to the next program I was gonna do texas method.
Coan phillipi is a pretty advanced routine. I don’t think it would work very well for someone who hasn’t yet reached a 500+ deadlift, similar to how smolov isn’t recommended unless you squat over 300. I would just switch over to texas method, maybe try coan-phillipi again when you’re more experienced
