Client with Muscle Stiffness

I work as a swim coach and I am about to start lessons with a person who has muscle stiffness. She used to do pilates but recently her doctor told her find something with less resistance. I have experience in helping swimmers but not with people who have injuries. I haven’t met her in person yet all I know is that she is over 50 and has muscle stiffness. Is there anything I can so to help before the lesson.

I know this doesn’t have much to do with bodybuilding but wasn’t sure where else to post this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just went to a chiropractor today, and let me tell you, if she goes to a decent one, that muscle stiffness will disappear. One that is qualified with ART/Graston technique is essential.

Magnesium, sometimes Potassium also helps.

There tends to be a deficiency of this minerals in the diet of most people. Especially in prePMS and PMS women.

Note: becareful with the type of magnesium since not all are the same.

Should I help her stretch or leave that to her doctor?
