For mainly mass building purposes only, are cleans and hang cleans beneficial? Would deadlifts be better?
i believe deadlifts would be better for mass, as cleans are better for strength/explosive power.
both have their time and place man. you could do both if you wanted to..go for some hang cleans, then hit the shrugs for extra work. get the best of both worlds if that's what your into.
Deadlifts would for sure be better for mass, but if you know how to properly do the cleans..go for both.
