Clean Bulking Diet

haha you’d think it would be that simple.

It really is that simple. I actually haven’t seen one Olympia competitor do something more complicated in the offseason. Because I think Dorian Yates is the best bodybuilder to ever live (making him the one I know most about), I like to use him as an example.

Here’s his chest and biceps workout that he followed for YEARS.

Incline barbell bench press
Hammer Strength seated bench press
Incline flyes
Cable crossovers
Incline curls
Bar curls
Machine curls

Offseason diet breakdown
50-60% carbs, 30% protein, 10-20% fat
Foods (the same shit every other bodybuilder eats): eggs, egg whites, chicken, turkey, beef, proein powder, carb powder, rice, beans, potatoes, pasta, oatmeal, bread, veggies, fruits, flaxseed oil.

Keep in mind this was a multi Olympia winner.

What else would there be to explain?

  1. Determine maintenance calories.
  2. Add 500 to 1000 calories.
  3. Design diet with food items and macronutrient percentages of choice.
  4. Train.
  5. See what’s happening every 2 to 4 weeks.
  6. Make adjustments.

If this was more complicated, there would be even less big dudes walking around considering that most big dudes have ordinary intellectual capabilities like everyone else.

i was being facetious but that is a really good example.
