Clean and Jerk and Snatch for Strength

i wanted to know if doing the classical lift will increase the numbers in classical lifts. ie if i clean and jerk more will i see my gain in strength. or its only due to the fact that my squat numbers are going up so is my clean and jerk or snatch. A lot of people say clean and jerk is a show of strength not a developer of strength.

of course it improves your strenght

Possible but extremely impractical.

Provided you’re doing them correctly, of course they will. That’s one of the primary tenants of the Bulgarian style of programming for olympic lifting. Depends on how you program for them of course, outside of being technically efficient.
