CHY Pulsing

When can we expect Biotest to release a casein hydrolysate product? And Christian, what’s going to make Biotest’s casein Hydrolysate any better than Peptopro? I read a post where you said there were no CH products available that were up to your standards.

Does Casein Hydrolysate have any benefits over Hydrolyzed Caseinate?

Its the same thing, one is a just a salt.

IF Biotest releases a CHY product (I’m not saying that they will), it would…

 1. Taste great (which is quite an accomplishment for a CHY product)
 2. Have certain added aminos that would magnify the effect the the CHY
 3. Be a higher grade of CHY that would be exclusive to Biotest, certified by the only producer of high quality CHY

I’m not saying that I am looking forward to Biotest’s CHY product, which may not even be released. But if it will, that’ll make me veeeery happy

I guess the next question would be -

Why the hell didn’t they use Casein Hydrolysate in Surge Recovery?

Because at the time of the creation of the product (8 years ago) the properties of CHY were not known. In fact it has been less than a year since they have been known.
So when Anaconda was first mentioned some three years ago (I’m guessing) it did not include CHY?

Actually it did, at least the first version that I tried did include it. But that was about a year ago so it might not even have been the first version.

And which aminos are those if you don’t mind me asking.

Ima guess Leucine and Glutamine and some other less important ones…

I’m confused here. I thought Anaconda was CHY.

No, Anaconda will have CHY in it along with a bunch of other incredible top secret ingredients. No I’m not being sarcastic.

Anaconda contains CHY as well as a bunch of other things…What is being talked about here is offering a pure CHY product to be used (for pulsing) as Anaconda will be in limited supply as well as too expensive to use for pulsing.

Correct.
skohcl wrote:

Incorrect… well correct on the L-Leucine, but not on the glutamine. And there will be a lot more stuff. But you really wont be able to create a home version of this. Well, you might… but it will actually cost you something like 25$ more than Anaconda (yes, I’ve tried it).

Wait, is this for trying to re-create Anaconda or the Biotest CHY?

Or you could just tell us what’s in Anaconda so we can spend less on the actual product when it comes out,

So far we know:

A) There’s 12g of CHY in each scoop of Anaconda (quick question, is that 12g of protein from CHY, or CHY itself, I know my CHY has 10g per 12g CHY)

and

B) There are no carbs in Anaconda (which is confusing then why we’d want to add CHY to a product with carbs like Surge Recovery or Surge Workout Fuel… to simulate Anaconda…)

re done below

What is the benefit of CHY over EAA/BCAA? I am thinking that the latter would be absorbed too quickly or the amino profile is of lower standard?

Bill Roberts wrote that mixing CHY with SWF during training would be closest approach to mimicking the effects of Anaconda as SWF and Anaconda have similar ingredients. However, supposedly there are things in Anaconda not contained in SWF which make it superior and more expensive.

Has it been stated that Anaconda will only have 12g of CHY? I know Christian has said only 12g of CHY is needed for pulse but I don’t remember if he said how much is in Anaconda.

He has answered this like six times. Look towards the last two pages of the protein pulse thread.

Here is the answer:

Quick question CT -

Would a fortified essential amino acid blend be suitable for pulsing? The AA profile is as follows:
Serving Size: 10gy
L-Leucine: 4000mg
L-Isoleucine: 1000mg
L-Valine: 1000mg
L-Lysine: 1000mg
L-Phenylalanine: 1000mg
L-Histidine: 1000mg
L-Threonine: 750mg
L-Methionine: 250mg

I’ve read that the di and tri peptides found in hydrolyzed whey/casein are even faster than free form aminos, but am hoping that free form aminos are still fast enough to elicit a state of quick hyperaminoacidemia.

Many thanks for all the info you provide.

No they are not. Not fast enough, but especally they don’t have all the amino acids included.
