Any new info out there on Recovery/healing chronic calf strains/tears.
I had a partial achilles tear 11years ago that required months of pt to get over. But now about every year or two ill get a calf strain/tear higher in the calf than my original injury. Prior to the latest episode Ive been doing dedicated calf strengthening for the past two years and really made progress. This time my injury was simply from walking while on vacation.
I start every training session and each day with gastroc/soleus stretches and warm them up before strength training.
Ive started wondering about more off the wall things such as prp or hgh to promote healing.
