Yard work and cleaned out the garage. Power washed the mats and made it nice in the home gym.

2 games in hoooot weather. Not sure what happened, but was supposed to pitch but my shoulder hurt. I’ve had lots of elbow paid, but never shoulders.

Congrats on the work stuff man! Hope the shoulder heals up, there aren’t many pitchers I know who have healthy elbows or shoulders. Pitching sure takes its toll!

Yea… it’s been rough. This may be my last year, which is sad… but I’d rather fulfill career goals than live glory days. If it is my last year, I’m ending on a hell of a high note. I’m batting .454 right now.

No workout to date this week. Worked 14 hours Monday, then had a family thing. Yesterday was a 16 hour day (7-12am) and today was a 10 hour day. I might get some squats in later, if I don’t pass out after dinner. Tomorrow, I’m back on the road and won’t return until late Friday night.

How’s the arm? Taking a small hiatus from pitching?

Arm is rough. I got the week off, but had to play third. Not nearly as bad, but still had to make a dozen painful throws. The pain is pretty deep in my shoulder, it doesn’t affect lifting so far, however.

The worst, actually, was I got hit on my hand. Very similar to Aaron Judge’s recent hbp.

Damn, that looked painful!

Broke the ol axle out for shoulders. Nice to see the strength is still there. I probably had 205 if I fully committed. I was nervous going into it. But, since 205 is my best axle ever, I’d like to get 2 plates soon.

Friday I did amrap KB presses wth 40lbs then push pressed amrap. Ended with 36 reps total.
