I say don’t be lenient to any of those that distibuted or those in possession of this tape. Reporters, district attorney, prosecuters, etc.
They put the then 17 year old kid in jail for getting a hummer from a then 15 year old, so…

It sounds like a pretty hairy situation.
The tape definately should not be distributed to anyone, but as it sounds no law has technically been broken. It wouldn’t be right to punish people for breaking a non-existent law but the lawmakers should close the loophole asap.
I think it is ridiculous that a 17 yr. old is serving a prison sentence for getting blown by a 15 year old.

Ludicrous.
Worse, the legislature passed a law that keeps the same situation from happening (w.r.t a 17 year old going to jail for consensual relations with a 15 year old) but declined to make it retroactive so that he could be freed.
