strange day, was looking forward to BP was awake at 3:15 got out of bed at 3:45 felt good, awake and ready, got the gym and 185 felt like 385( not hat I actually know) so I was temporarily deflated…went through the progression above… 225 was awful, I almost bailed and went home, but worked up to a heavy single at 260 and was feeling awesome…and the 3rd and 4th set of 235 were sweet, fast, in the groove… felt great… go figure

peace

Nice lifting through the sluggish day. We all have them. Once you get warm and have the coal burning things are much better.

Thanks GV, agreed! I have to keep that in mind

Nice work young man… I have a question…do you still use Plazma and Indigo? If so, what have noticed it doing for you? Body comp change? strength, endurance? Just curious since a) I don’t trust paid spokespeople from BioTest who write articles and low and behold the only way forward is with a “miracle” product that they happen to sell and b) I don’t know what if age factors into the effectiveness…your 2 cents would be greatly appreciated.

OG (that moniker on someone only 55!), I have not been using indigo and plazma in about 2 months. I have not benefitted from Indigo, probably from my age. I recommend plazma , micro-pa, and mag 10. I restarted micro-pa just this week and I’ll be adding plazma in a few weeks if my workout poundages intensify. Postworkout mag l0 obliterates soreness for me. Micro pa gives me a bit of strength. Plazma lets me sail through an intense/heavy workout and gives me a bit more strength. I haven’t been doing such workouts lately. Body comp probably about same; wife likes my bod. Only drawbacks for me are (1) increased restroom breaks during/after workouts from all the water needed for plazma mixture consumed during workout, and (2) need increased postworkout water intake to minimize staring in a 2 am prostate problem commercial. My body acclimates after a few days. Maybe start with plazma, assess its effects, then perhaps micro-pa after about a month. Also mag l0 for effective soreness prevention.

Hahaha…its not the years its the miles !!! Thank you kindly for the insight. I ordered 2 bags of Plazma to check it out… And speaking of monikers…would it be a Harley Electra Glide or Road King?

WAS a Harley electra glide ultra until wife wanted a swimming pool. Oh those days…

I just sold my bike2 weeks ago … Honda 600 CBR…this is the 1st time since I was 16 that I am bikeless…

Well, my bike story is that I started at 49 with a Beemer. Darn thing was too much work to ride, so I got the Harley and put 22,000 miles on it in 4 years. Rode from Louisiana to (a) Taos, New Mexico, (b) northwest Colorado (in snow), (c) Malibu, California, by myself no less, and (d) Branson, Missouri. Got lost a bit, experienced 98% circular curves in Colorado, LA traffic, Santa Monica mountain subdivision crumbling roads, fleabag motels, 6 story corkscrew parking garage ramps, 8" snow falls at 10,000+ feet in Rockies. It was great in those years but I’m glad I sold it with no injuries at 55. I sold to a 70 something who, while stopping to talk to other riders, misjudged unlevel pavement and bike fell on him and broke his hip and leg near Washington DC. After hospital there he flew home and eventually trailered the bike back to Louisiana. Only regret was I didn’t ride to Florida keys and sleep on the beaches.

Guess you can tell it’s a slow day in my office.

wow, you had some nice (interesting rides)…and not getting injured…priceless!
