I've noticed that the longer I lift, the larger the gap between my two pectoral muscles is getting. It is not a natural gap, straight and even and symmetrical running down the sternum. In my case, it is widening toward the bottom, and there is more gap/ bare bone on my left side than right. Is there any way to stop this widening? Perhaps it is caused by weak tendons? Any help or information would be appreciated. Ask questions if I was too confusing in my explanation.
I doubt that this is actually the case. More likely it just appears that way as your pecs taper more to the sternum as they grow larger.
Genetics. My abs look like a puzzle piece.
You can't control it. Just keep lifting, you are probably the only one who notices it anyway.
