Cheap Looking Product Websites

 Is it just me or most of product websites (books, manuals, dvd's) looks a bit cheap and "bland". Most of them has big red oversized fonts, exclamation marks, then it shows some testimonials from pros.

“DO YOU WANT TO INCREASE YOUR VERT?
RUN A FASTER 40?
INCREASE YOUR BENCH?”
You know what I’m saying…

I’m not hating on the product since I know the authors of the products are damn good pros. But if I didn’t know who they are, I’d probably skip the website as some too-good-to-be-true enhancement products.

They need some way to lure the masses. Big flashing lights tend to help. I’m sure most of the guys who are knowledgable don’t like advertising like that, but it’s a necessary evil.
