Wow, I didn’t know this had happened. I guess I always saw Chuck as timeless. I somehow never really gave much thought to the old man actually dying. He was a great actor, and a great man with a lot of integrity, regardless of politics. He spoke his mind but never really resorted to rhetoric or mud slinging. And you knew exactly where he stood. He will be missed.
Loved his old movies especially during the seventies. Soylent Green, The Omega Man (better then I am Legend IMO), Planet of the Apes. Lot of good westerns as well. RIP Mr. Heston.
