Central Florida HRT?

Anyone presently being treated for HRT in the central Florida area by a competent Dr.? My GP and urologist aren’t very well versed in the subject (i.e. idiots) and I’m presently looking for a replacement. Been given the Test Cyp only protocol and presently experiencing all the usual suspects: testicular ache, atrophy, sperm count 0, etc…

Hoping to find a Dr. that actually knows what they are doing regarding blood work, HCG, and AI use and would prefer going to someone maybe one of you guys out there is currently seeing. Tampa, Brandon, Lakeland, Orlando, etc areas would be great…

I’m not 100% opposed to an anti-aging clinic, but I’m also not 100% inline with simply giving money away to receive treatment any GP should be capable of giving. I’m not looking for deca, HGH, and microderm abrasion here haha… Any help finding a Dr or HCG would be greatly appreciated… PM or reply if you can help. Thanks in advance…

I just started HRT last week. I ended up going to a clinic in S. Fla (I travel there for work so it wasn’t an issue). My GP did the original blood work but wasn’t overly eager to do anything. He also didn’t seem to be familiar with current HRT protocols. Once I get my levels stabilized and have solid data to back up the treatment I’m going to try and find a GP locally that will take over and continue. The clinics are pricey but seem to be the easiest to work with.

I’m currently doing 100 mg x2/wk, 250UI HCG x2/wk, and Anastrozole (1.1 mg x2/wk). Doing first blood work this Thursday morning to see where things are falling (primarily to dial in Anastrozole).

PM me if you want the name of the place I’m using.

Unfortunately I am in line with your thinking. Visiting a pricey clinic and hoping another practitioner will continue Tx might be the best course of action in my present state. One would think Florida of all places would have some more progressive medical care… Guess not haha!

I’m in central FL myself and my GP was clueless about HRT, although a great Doc for other areas of medicine. The Endo he sent me to was a know it all douche. I found an endo myself and had my first meeting with him 2 weeks ago. I told him what I had been through and that I was looking for someone with an open mind to the newer protocols and keeping my e2 in check and that I dont want to continue with aching testes etc. Since I never had base line blood work done, he is having me do that first after I get the current mix of gel, patch, injection out of my system. I’ll keep you posted as to how open minded he really is. I liked a lot of what he was saying, but some things were making me think, here we go again. I do think he is open minded in the sense that if I bring in some of the research I have from this site and other studys, he would give them a chance. If you care you can look at my saga under the post The Long Journey, and I’ll give you the name of this Doc if he turns out to be any good. Maybe if he has a couple of patients bringing in the same info he would really be open to the newer protocols.
