Thoughts?
Does this mean anything to anyone? By 2043 I expect to be on my ranch with my large family fighting off the mutated Boar-Bats that have taken over the midwest.

Couldn’t care less…But then again I live in MD like you, so I’m use to a good mix.

We are all Americans, and once we figure that out, it won’t matter really.
I live in California. It seems like I’ve been living with that reality for the last ten years already.
I look forward to it. Maybe my kids will get to hide behind the minority card every time they do something stupid. Will affirmative action go out with the white majority as well? Or will it get applied to whites instead?

I don’t care.
Non-white people will be “minorities” even if white people only comprise 10% of the population. At least that’s what it seems like the definition of minority is nowadays.

This, affirmative action will never go anywhere and it will never be applied to whites. Even if whites are the minority the only thing that will change is the terminology. It will be the whites and the “socially disadvantaged”. Borrowed this term for all non-whites from a form I was reading the other day.

My predictions:

A conservative white Republican male will never see the inside of the white house again or a top political post in various states.

In years past many immigrants who came to the U.S. from Europe strove to learn the English language, lose their accents, change their names etc… In other words they made the effort to assimilate! The pressure to do this will not be as profound anymore. Divisions and polarization will be more pronounced.

The white separatist movement will gain more steam and support. Along with this will be more mobilization and activity with militias and other conservative/ultra-conservative groups.

Affirmative action, which is at it’s all time low with respect to support, will either be re-defined or scrapped entirely. Support for Affirmative Action Hits Record Low

The new power elite will be comprised of Hispanics. Most of them will be of Mexican lineage as they form more than 60% of the current Hispanic population in the U.S.

There will be an unofficial “Balkanization” of the population as different ethnic groups will congregate in different regions of the country. This is already going on now and will continue to intensify in the coming decades.

This is what worries me the most…parts of the country that have mexican control turning into something that resembles mexico.

Given the pathology of political correctness, when and if an interest in group identity is expressed, it is immediately followed by the RACIST stamp.
This phenomenon is prevalent in the United States. In Europe on the other hand, group identity is more likely to come under the umbrella of National/State identity (i.e. country vs. country).
The whites in the U.S. are too diverse with respect to their European lands of origin and have been here too long (generations) for there to be a common “group identity” paradigm.

You are correct, and this is happening here.
We have had attempts at legalizing blatant corruption that might resemble Mexico, like legalizing acceptable amounts of cocaine, heroine, and even child porn. We also have some mighty strict guns laws, (something also common in Mexico), and large swaths of land being bought by drug cartels. Why smuggle it over when you can just grow it here.
