R Kelly- you’re done bro.

Hahahahahaha!

You don’t understand his fans too well, huh?

Yeah, I suppose he should go under “should have…”

You just shouldn’t be pissing on little girls man…

Let alone sticking your weewee into them.

Mel Gibson and his anti-semite rant?

Nope, he makes his own movies now and again, too many silently support his views.

I’ll watch a Mel Gibson movie because I like his acting/directing.

Tom Cruise, anyone?
He’s not done either. The guy still commands incredible revenues from his films. Besides, as the pharmaceutical and medical care industries get more shit slung their way, Cruise will be at least partially vindicated.

u serious…compared to where she was?
most insurance companies wont insure her for movies and she has like no money left. Id say thats a pretty big case of acareer suicide.

The term you used was career suicide. I can’t disagree that she hurt her career and won’t reach the peaks she would have had she not made so many poor decisions. That said, she is still marketable and young, she did a spread in New York Magazine, and still has major appearances on television and movie sets.

Source? Even if true in the current, this not only occurs by degree (and not absolute), but also does not necessarily hold true in the future.

Michael Jackson

Well the way I see it, you can either get pissed on or move the fuck out the way- Boondocks
yess i was waiting on boondocks reference, good too see others that watch it, funniest was grandad - he sounds like a good host, i want a gold shower lol

Rappers who should’ve known better…the audience has a very short attention span.

Shyne
Black Rob
Cassidy
Mystical
Beanie Sigel

There’s a whole lot more but these stand out as real shames considering the talent they displayed in the begining
if shyne comes out with a banger of an album after being in jail for so long, he will be held as a martyr

black rob - never really felt the dude, but he committed career suicide once he signed too bad boy.

cassidy - he’s a no hoper, he shouldnt have made such a big deal out of the murder charge, he should have done the kanye route and talked about his car crash - btw the latest song he released is pretty sick, i cant remember the name

beanie sigel- ??? dude is still around and still one of the best…

ill add one thats regrettable

camron - where is dude? hip hop needs him back, he used to be an ill lyricist back in the day e.g D-rugs. he comes out with an album filled with banging beats, and shit that he says is just hilarious e.g.

suck it or not - Lookin light skinned, mami was tight slim

Fat ass, big tits, I noticed her nice
             chin(sturdy chin)

that adlib is hilarious every time, if ballin never popped off i reckon killa cam might still be aroud

The worst part is that people like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and these other skunk skanks will never be out of work becuase stations like MTV and VH1 give the dude from Brady Bunch and FlavaFlav their own shows (so you know they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel already).

Probably the biggest one of all. Can’t believe I missed that one.

Sinead O’Conner was a good one too. I remember watching that episode live. That was a true case of CS right there.

It took a long time for Hanoi Jane to get work.

I agree with what your saying but she had a career as a sucessful young actress and singer and could get away with the cute little inoocent roles. Now all those opprtunities are gone. As far as her financial troubles, everyhting is from gossip stuff so take it with a grain of salt but as u asked for:

Anyone else see a correlation between between a celebrity’s continued success and his/her lack of guilt for seriously fucking up? Or maybe it’s just me.

I think half the reason for career suicide is admitting to doing wrong, which just makes people resent you all the more. If I were a celebrity and did something offensive I would refuse to apologize.

I think you have a point, they do seem to be always apologizing for something…after a while it becomes redundant.

Peewee Herman - when he showed some kid his peewee

I wanna pee on you, yes I do…

What? Never heard of that.

I believe what you are referring to is his arrest for masturbation in a porn theater. (Lets not create gossip like this.)

That’s not what they do in porn theaters?

Who goes to porn theaters for the popcorn?

For that matter, how nasty is it to actually go to a porn THEATER?

Pre - 1980 and the home video explosion, I guess you had no choice if you wanted to see porn.

The VCR brought porn home, and privatized it - and the industry went thru the roof…

LOL!

I thought for some reason it was a normal theatre that Peewee was caught in.

No way man. Did you not see him in Blow?

No. It was a porn theater…which is why I never joined in with the hatred of him. It made little sense to me even as a kid that he got arrested in a place like that for doing what he did.

He was in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie also.

He just looks completely different without the short hair, nerdy voice and suit.
