From what i read, CT does more conditioning type stuff when he backs off on the training frequency.
Its really a individual thing. If your conditioning sucks like mind you might be better serve cutting back on training frequency and starting some hill sprints and sled drags for example. Right now i really can't keep a good enough paste when using the rocket style reps. I basically run out of breath to easy so i need to improve my conditioning to get a quality weight training session.
If you want to give the FULL HP training system a honest shot you need to have excellent conditioning first IMO. For instance, right now i'm only doing 1 main lift a session.
