Cardio Question

I was wondering if you guys could tell me the different benefits, cardio wise, of these two exercises.

  • Doing 30 minutes of hiit on the treadmill or eliptical trainer

  • Doing 30 minutes of a mix of jumprope and box jumps

Both exercises get my heartrate up pretty good and seem to give me a great workout.
But are there any actual differences between those two exercises? I mean benefits for my heart, weightloss etc??
