Recently in an art class I built a cardboard chair. I really liked the work and have been looking for diagrams or info. on how to make different types of chairs and other furniture but, it is impossible to find. Has anyone built them, have ideas on how to make them or links to sites? I have seen a lot on line but they usually show the finished product. Seems like the only way would be to stare at the end result and try to figure out how it is done.
well looking at that image… 18ish vertical pieces with slots that you slide the horizontal pieces in… doesn’t seem difficult, just incredibly time consuming. What are you getting hung up on?
edit - sense I now realize you just want to make random stuff… just triangulate properly so it has some structural integrity and it should be fine
The idea seems pretty cool and it looks like it simple to make.
