Carbonated beverages

I read an article the other day that said drinking carbonated beverages with a meal will halt protein digestion. How true (if at all) is this? If true, does anyone know of something that will aid digestion. And please don’t say some weird green fungus tree bark tea that I can’t get from the local supermarket!

I have never heard that. In regards to helping digestion, try papaya pills or Bromelain (which comes from pineapple plants). start off with 100-200mg of bromelain. Papaya I don’t remember, except it really varies depending on company.
