Carbohydrate Tolerance

Hi All

This is my first post on T-Nation, hopefully it’s readable since I’m a native dutch guy.
Anyway here is my question:

The article “Carbohydrate Tolerance” on this forum states that the first day should be extrême-low-carb and the followind days Low-carb. I’m used to lowering my carb-intake but to go to zero carbs I’ve never done before.

What alternatives could/should i eat?
Just take whey protein shakes, and meat/fish during that extreme-low-carb day? Or is there some good supplement I should now about.

Cottage cheese, nuts of any kind (they mighthave a few carbs but its mostly fiber, which is good), avocado, oils (especially fish)…
