Is there any such thing as an “upper limit” to the number of carbs you should consume in one meal? I sometimes consume 100+ grams in one meal, three times a day and I’ve noticed that I get a bit “dizzy” for just a few seconds sometimes a while after. I don’t feel tired or like I want to go lay down and take a nap or anything. I just feel “out of it” for a second or two. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with my insulin sensitivity. I plan on going to get my blood glucose and insulin levels tested at the doctor’s office next week, but I just figured I’d ask here to see if anyone has ever experienced anything like that before.
P.S. I take 300mg of R-ala a day, 100mg with each of my high carb meals.
