Hey everyone, new to the forums but not the site. Just wondered if anyone here has had good results with the carb cycling codex by Christian Thibaudeau? I've been on the carb cycling for beginners plan from T-Nation with great results for cutting, but was looking at using this plan for when I cycle back to a building strength with Wendler's beyond 5/3/1 program. My only thing is when I calculated the numbers, the fat seemed really high( Yes, I realize fat does not make you fat its just a higher number than I've ever had in a plan before). I calculated at the 20% above activity level maintenance like it talks about.
Here's what have:
Age: 20 Height: 6' 9" Weight:190lb
According to the program the BMR is sitting at 3177 calories and with the 20% bump puts it at 3812. After following the recommended macro levels to calculate with this is what I come up with:
High Day: 285 Protein, 356 Carb, 170 Fat
Moderate Day: 285 Protein, 285 Carb, 170 Fat
Low Day: 285 Protein, 213 Carb, 170 Fat
Thank you in advance to anyone who reads this and is able to help me out. I do not have a lot of people to refer to where I am located so a second opinion is greatly appreciated.
