I just recently came along CT’s "Carb Cycling Codex and I’m very interesested in trying it out. The only thing that makes me hesitant to dive right in is his recommendation to have 50% of your carbs divided up between breakfast and the PPWO meal and the other 50% during and PWO (Surge and the remaining amount filled by white rice). Not only does this conflict with all the scientific research on PWO nutrition (check out Dr. Berardi’s “Solving the Post-workout puzzle”), but this would require me to ingest 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 cups of rice (and I’m only 145 LBS!). I don’t mean to question CT because obviously he knows his stuff. This just seems odd to me though. Does anyone else feel this way or has anyone tried out this meal plan who can vouch for it’s effectiveness?
