Canned/Bagged vs. Fresh

Ok, I know that fresh fish and chicken has to be better for you than bagged or canned, but this is what I want to know:

Is there any redemptive qualities in canned tuna, salmon or chicken at all, or are you just pissing your money away when you should buy fresh?

I wouldnt say it is better and many times the bagged/frozen can be better it was flash frozen very quickly after being farmed preserving it better little to no leeching of nutrients

AFAIK, canned salmon is always wild and relatively cheap (since factories are on the shore), while fresh wild salmon is harder to find and rather pricey.
