Can TRT Improve Iron Deficiency & Anemia?

Hi I would like to know If its correct that TRT can improve iron deficiency and anemia?

I was looking at a lot of bloodwork I had done over the past year and it looked to me that my iron levels was better 6 weeks after coming off a cycle,

At the moment Im still considering if I should start TRT,
I have high total T, low free T, and high shbg,

Pre TRT

Post TRT

Yes it can help anemia but may also require Iron supplementation in addition.

TRT uses up more iron stores, so if your not doing anything to improve iron status…

I became iron deficient because my diet lacked vitamin C which regulates iron absorption, low vitamin C will lead to iron deficiency.

Thanks for the bloods

Ok I eat tons of Vitamin C packed food everyday, so I dont think its that,
Let me show u some bloods so you know what I mean,

My hemoglobin was fine and blood count,
Its my iron in my blood and iron stores that Im talking about,

So In march here is my levels,
Ferritin 168ng/mL (30-400)
Iron 187 ( 59-193)
Transferrin 221 mg/dL (200-360)

Then just before August my levels
Ferritin 111ng/mL (30-400)
Iron 58 (59-193) LOW
Transferrin 199mg/dL (200-360) LOW

Now 1 month ago levels
Ferritin 155ng/mL 30-400
Iron 91 59-193
Transferrin 202mg/dL 200-360

He’s my iron levels if it helps (on TRT)

My labs are all in Spanish wich dont help,

I would either add more iron to your diet and see how you do, but keep a close watch. If you see iron dipping low again (assuming you started TRT), supplement 28mg iron bisglycinate daily or EOD.

Yes will keep a close eye on it,

My Ferrarin and iron stores dropped extremely low on TRT… because I had a haemerroid that was causing HUGE amounts of blood each time I took a shit, required surgery (of which there were complications. Imagine inserting a catheter into someone with hypospadias)
